Basecoat Stabilising Thinner is an effective organic solvent which is used to dilute metallic basecoat paint prior to spraying. Used correctly, and particularly with silver colours, this stabiliser thinner improves the orientation of the effect pigments. In order to bring out the best of the aluminium effect, it is best to use this product in paints with a pronounces tendency to clouding.
